HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
Eligibility
Criteria
Individuals born in Angola, born to or adopted by Angolan parents, or married to Angolans.
Angolans or any other individuals who support the purpose statement in Article II and the Corporation Mission Statement.
Must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the State of Georgia.
Application Process
Complete a membership application.
Demonstrate 30 days of residency in the State of Georgia.
Membership
Status
Membership begins once all financial and other obligations are met.
Members must pay dues and registration fees as prescribed by the Executive Office.
Dues
& Fees
Membership dues and registration fees are set by the Executive Office.
Members who fail to pay dues for three consecutive months are declared inactive and lose membership benefits until all past dues and a reactivation fine are paid.
Participation
& Voting
Members must pay dues and attend at least 50% of general meetings in a fiscal year to participate in elections and vote on important matters.
